i hate this website, even though i am a far cry from being over weight (in fact, some people might say i'm underweight)...
but anyways, i have yet to meat my goals of any of the big 4 (proteins, carbs, fat, calories) and my vitamins and minerals are always very low....it has just opened my eyes that it is not surprising at all how unhealthy america is.....we are a bunch of lazy fat slobs
AAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
i can't believe you mentioned that bastard oven mitt!!!
(please note -- i saw the arby's commercial while
in the hotel room this weekend... just fyi)
i tried accessing that site last night but it
was down. i'll try to see if i can get on it now.
yes, my workout program consists of the arms and chest this evening....i'll let everyone know how it went tomorrow...assuming i can still move...
LOL...
well i am curious as to what everyone has set up
for. maybe not particular body parts but what
kinda workout you've got.
mine is weird.... its a full 5-day routine...
3 days for average strength training exercise
with 2 (alternated) middle days for specifics.
i did notice the rep count seems to be a bit high...
especially for beginners.... but then again,
i guess i shouldn't complain.
apparently, after each session you go back into
your profile and record the number of reps/weights
you performed. from what i understand, this will
translate onto a larger 'map' type thing showing
particular results.
apparently if you do this, plus keep record of
your food intake... plus follow the nutrition plan
they offer (they told me what foods to increase
and decrease).... in a few days/weeks you will be
able to get a progress chart/report
i didn't get a nutrition plan...what did i do wrong, i'm going to have to go check that out....
and also, the reason for the high reps, is for toning...i think....and if you can't reach that number of reps, decresase weight until you can reach your goal
after logging in, you are taken back to the main
page with a green bar in the upper half of the page.
this is where you get your exercise and food plans
as for the reps thing... maybe i should be a bit
more specific... at least offer an example to
show what i mean:
after registering you are given a generic fitness
plan (exercise)... if you select to focus on
additional areas, you receive ANOTHER fitness
plan beneath the generic one (the second plan
emphasizes those specific areas).
my generic fitness plan contains a total of
5 exercises... that i must do in sets (naturally).
each set is 15 reps per exercise... with 60 second
intervals between sets... then repeat each
cycle until all the reps have been completed.
my generic plan is just that... generic...
including arm curls and push ups. however, there
is just no farkin way i can do 15 reps per
exercise (in 5 cycles) with 60 seconds between
each set.
as a beginner... its just fucking impossible.
